Great place, just a few blocks from Mississippi harbor, it offers the traditional cajun meals and one or two local eccentricities that deserves a try, totally. 

The way to order the meals is rare: to complement your meal (meals) you order the different types of food according to the size of it and where's placed at the menu; for example: small meals, medium meals, big meals and appetizers, but it doesn't mean that they have those sizes literally, but it means that you put the stuff you want together and how to mix them. I'll keep talking about this later. 

At the time I was looking the menu, I realized that they offer Mexican Coke for drink; I asked for it, obviously, the waiter told me that the Mexican Coke version was more delicious. By the way, all the staff at the place were extremely nice, each one played their roles kindly very well. All the time there was someone taking care of what we needed. Even one of them told me he loved Mexico City (DF he said).

After having checked the whole menu I was sure how to mix my meals: one marinade alligator in the small meals and one smooth potato from the appetizers, after that I realized that I should have ask for something else, because I didn't get full enough. Anyway, it totally worth it, the alligator was pretty interesting, its marinate was delicious so the spices what it was cooked with, its meat was smooth, a little bit tasteless, although I could feel a minor taste of seafood or chicken, all of it was delightful. The potato was wonderful, it was a little bit bigger than the alligator, it was tender, succulent, with a delicacy flavor that could be enjoyed at every bit. Simply extraordinary. 

The place was comfortable, clean and although it was crammed it was peaceful. I must say it was a little bit expensive, but it worth it at all. One obligatory from New Orleans.
